This site is built with the Mac OSX website development tool RapidWeaver from Realmac Software, the web development environment I have been seeking for years.
RapidWeaver is an astonishingly simple yet powerful environment for creating non-cookie-cutter websites which are nonetheless capable of all the standard website features: text and pictures in any layout at all, blogs, download pages, photo albums, movie albums, contact forms and so on, all displayable with a large set of built-in customizable themes.
RapidWeaver’s popularity has also lead to a vibrant add-on market of themes, page types, utilities, code snippets etc. In fact, for me the hardest part of using RapidWeaver has been discovering all the capabilities available beyond the set sold with the program.
